It seems we're
finally, sort of, touring! The 25th will be our fourth gig in a
row with the Trio - Sjef Poels, Tom van Veldhoven and me. It
feels good to share the music I've been writing, and to get
feedback on it, and to hear that they enjoy it as well as I do!
This Fall and
Winter we're going to try and continue doing one gig a month. Whilst doing
that, I plan to have my drum tracks ready by the end of 2010 and I can't wait to
edit them. 18 out of 21 songs have drums in them (Between Air
And Wing, and Endangered Species: Man will be a "twin" album),
and boy - nice drums at that.

/ electric set, consisting of old and new material. Our guess is that it will
be a very intimate gig, and musically a very interesting one,
since we actually had time to rehearse with the three of us in the
meantime. The
setting's in a medieval basement hallway!

The first demo
versions of the new album. The demos are used to inspire the musicians I work
with and to start up arrangement concepts. Together we decide which songs ask
for which instruments, and then I just hand the musician a global idea for their
part. We record about 10 takes and I get to edit these, like a sculptor more or
less...
